The reference SEO toolkit: the data, the analysis and the tracking.
Hoxigen is the marketing department: it finds where you are missing from Google and AI answers, writes and publishes the content across your blog, social, and video channels, and shows what changed.
Semrush is not a rival in the way the others on this page are. It is the reference toolkit for search, and on data it is not close: keyword research, competitor analysis, position tracking up to 5,000 keywords a day, site audit, content marketing, digital PR, AI visibility tracking, MCP access and an API on the top tier. Most people who do this job professionally use it, and they are right to.
It is a tool, not a team. Semrush tells you what to do; you, your agency or your writer still do it. Every comparison in this category eventually has a DIY column, and Semrush is what sits in it — the research is theirs, the article, the post, the short and the publishing schedule are still yours to staff. Nothing on their published pricing page publishes anything on your behalf.
Hoxigen is the other half of that sentence. It finds where you are missing from Google and AI answers, writes the article, post, story or short, publishes them to your blog, Facebook, Instagram, X, Reddit, LinkedIn and YouTube, captures leads inside the article, and shows what moved afterwards — from $99 a month, with the writing included. On analysis we are nowhere near them and have not tried to be.
Written so their own team would call it accurate. If one of these is what you are buying, buy it from them.
Keyword research, competitor analysis, position tracking of up to 5,000 keywords daily, site audit, backlinks and digital PR — and from Pro+ up, historical SEO data, content optimization and keyword cannibalization analysis. We have none of that depth and will not pretend otherwise.
50, 100 or 200 prompts tracked daily by tier, plus AI brand performance on a domain from Starter, and the same capability sold again as a $99-a-month per-domain add-on. We scan up to ten buyer questions a week.
MCP access across the tiers and an API on Advanced. Our signed webhook is the only contract we publish, and it has no documentation site.
40 websites and 5,000 daily keywords on Advanced, seats sold individually, Enterprise quoted on request. Our largest plan covers 10 sites and 10 seats.
The chip on each row says who wins it. Some of them are not us.
Search Console queries in striking distance are found and queued automatically, but positions are only compared period against period — no durable per-query series.
500, 500, 1,500 or 5,000 keywords tracked daily by tier, on top of full keyword research.
None of it. No crawler by decision, no link tooling, no PR outreach.
Site audit, backlink analysis and digital PR tooling, all in the product.
Weekly sampled scans of up to ten of your own buyer questions across OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and xAI on paid plans, keeping the answer, its citations, brand and competitor mentions, sentiment, recommendation position and movement — and the gaps can be turned into a planned article.
50, 100 or 200 prompts tracked daily, AI brand performance on one domain from Starter, also sold as a $99-a-month add-on. Far more prompts than we run; measurement rather than something that writes the page.
SEO articles with images, FAQ schema and internal links, plus social posts, stories and YouTube scene videos, in 17 languages.
A content marketing area that guides the work. The writing is still done by you or your agency.
Signed webhook to your own domain, our WordPress plugin, Shopify, Wix and Webflow in beta, and posting straight to Facebook, Instagram, X, Reddit, LinkedIn and YouTube.
Nothing on the published pricing page publishes for you.
Seven channel types, generated video, and a lead form inside the article, from one queue.
None of it.
Each published item shows the query positions, AI visibility, leads and blog views that moved in its window, and says nothing rather than inventing a zero when the data is too thin.
Deeper tracking and reporting than ours — but it is not tied to a published item, because nothing was published from it.
One signed webhook with no documentation site. Seats are included in the plan: 1, 3 or 10.
MCP access, an API on Advanced, and extra seats at roughly $45 to $100, plus about $99 more for AI visibility on that seat.
$99 Starter, $199 Business, $449 Agency a month, with the writing, the video and the publishing inside the price.
$117.33 to $455.67 a month billed annually — $139 to $549 monthly — for the tool, plus whoever you pay to act on it.
You would find these out in week two anyway. Here they are in week zero.
5,000 keywords tracked daily, historical SEO data, site audit, backlinks, digital PR, competitor analysis, keyword cannibalization. This is not a gap we are closing; it is a different product doing a different job.
200 prompts a day against our ten buyer questions a week. Our four engines, citations and the article that follows are a narrower edge than it first sounds — theirs is the bigger measurement surface.
If you are pulling search data into your own systems or driving it from an agent, they made that easy and we have not.
40 websites under one login, seats bought individually, Enterprise above that. We stop at 10 sites and 10 seats.
The full list of what we do not do is on the alternatives page.
Everything on this page about a rival comes from its own public pricing and marketing pages, read on the date shown. We have not tested inside a paid account, and where a number is the rival's marketing claim rather than something we measured, we say so. Think we have something wrong? hello@hoxigen.app — we will correct the page.
Nothing publishes until you connect a channel, and every item waits for you first.
